Impulsive is an early-stage, pre-launch behaviour-change support app for adults who want a short pause between a difficult habit moment and the next action. The product is currently in waitlist phase and is not yet generally available. This page explains how we handle personal information collected through useimpulsive.com during this pre-launch period.
If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you submit. We may also process technical information that is needed to operate the site securely and prevent spam, including a one-way hashed form of your IP address, your browser user agent, the referring page, and the page you submitted from.
We do not collect any habit-moment records, intensity ratings, or reflections through this website. Those features belong to the Impulsive app, which is not yet released.
Your email is used to send you early access, testing, and launch updates about Impulsive. Technical information is used to keep the site working, prevent abuse of the waitlist form, and understand the source of signups in aggregate.
We do not sell personal data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Waitlist signups may be stored in Cloudflare D1 (or equivalent backend storage) and processed through Cloudflare Workers. Transactional confirmation email may be sent through an email provider such as Brevo, only for the purpose of confirming your signup and sending product updates.
We keep waitlist information until launch, plus a reasonable period to send launch communications. If you ask us to remove your email earlier, we will do so.
You can ask us to remove your email from the waitlist or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. To do this, email hello@useimpulsive.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, or object to the processing of your data.
We take reasonable steps to protect the limited information collected through the site. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have a security concern, please contact hello@useimpulsive.com.
Impulsive is not directed at children. Please do not submit a waitlist signup on behalf of anyone under 16.
Impulsive is a behaviour-change support tool for adults. It is not a medical device, therapy service, diagnosis tool, crisis-support service, or clinically validated treatment. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent addiction, compulsions, mental health conditions, or any medical condition. If you feel at risk of harming yourself or someone else, or you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services or local crisis support now.
